Where did you complete your studies?
I studied at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Semmelweis University, between 2014 and 2018. After graduating, I began working as a dietitian at Szent János Hospital.
What professional experience do you have?
At the hospital, I gained experience primarily in the fields of diabetology and endocrinology, but I was also involved in the care of gastroenterology patients. In 2021, as part of a European Union project, I carried out health education activities, delivering group consultations and lectures in nursing homes. In the spring of 2022, I joined the professional team at DokiApp, where I support patients with a wide range of needs, particularly in diabetology and endocrinology. I also work with gastroenterological issues such as gallbladder problems, pancreatic conditions, inflammatory bowel diseases, and SIBO. Additionally, healthy eating and weight management are frequent topics in my practice.
In what cases can people turn to you?
Thanks to my previous experience, I can support clients in a wide variety of areas. My strongest expertise is undoubtedly in diabetology and endocrinology. However, I am also frequently consulted—both in the hospital and through other platforms—about gastroenterological problems such as gallbladder disorders, pancreatic issues, inflammatory bowel diseases, and SIBO. Naturally, healthy eating and weight loss are also part of my daily work.
Why did you start writing?
Dietetics is my vocation, and I believe it is important to use my professional experience to help readers by providing accessible, evidence-based information to those who are open to it.
We encounter countless posts and videos about diets on almost every platform, many of which are not based on facts—a reality I face every day. I find it essential to have platforms where reliable, professionally curated information is shared, helping people navigate the often confusing world of diets.
Another key motivation for me is to continually expand and refresh my own knowledge. Writing articles encourages me to verify my existing information, research the latest recommendations, and thoroughly examine the background of newly emerging misconceptions.
